The Atomic Energy Central School-4 was established in 1990 under the aegis of Hon.Chairman Dr M P Navalkar and Hon. Secretary Mr M D Sardeshpande. The school is a big and spacious three storeyed building which is surrounded by lush greenery. It has all the basic facilities like a playground, library, laboratories etc. AECS-4 witnessed continuous growth in the strength of the teachers and students. From the year 1991 to 1995 students of classes IX and X from all the schools in Mumbai along with the senior teachers of different departments were transferred to this school.
