The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education is an autonomous body tasked with managing education in the state. Established on August 28, 1975, it is commonly referred to as JKBOSE. The board’s headquarters are located in Jammu and Srinagar. The primary goal of the Jammu and Kashmir Board is to identify talent and foster its development.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board conducts public examinations for secondary and senior secondary levels. JKBOSE regulates the syllabus and curriculum of affiliated schools and administers exams for both classes, namely classes 10 and 12. Upon completion of the board exams, the board declares the results. JK Board promotes equality of opportunity by providing necessary facilities and implements National Sponsored Schemes like Scholarships, Adolescence Education Programme, National Achievement Survey, NTSE/NMMS, etc.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board issues timetables to students of class 10 and class 12, conducting exams for various divisions such as Jammu, Kashmir, Kargil, Leh, etc. The date sheet is released for different zones like the Summer Zone and Winter Zone. Students receive the date sheet in January for the Summer Zone and in September for the Winter Zone. Exams for both zones are conducted in March and October, respectively.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board releases the timetable for HSLC and HSSLC in the month of January. JKBOSE conducts the board exams in the month of February and March for both classes. The practical exams use to be held in the month of January. The students obtain the date sheet online on the official website. On the admit card, the students get the details such as the name of the candidates, date of birth, roll number, enrollment number of the students, registration number, the board’s details, the name of the subjects, subject code, exams date, the days of the exams, timings for the exams, reporting time for the students, other important instructions.

JKBOSE Admit Card
The admit card for the students of classes 10 and 12 used to be available online on the official website. To download the admit card, the students need to submit the required details such as the registration number, application number, date of birth etc. On the admit card, the students get the details such as the name of the candidates, date of birth, roll number, enrollment number of the students, registration number, the board’s details, the name of the subjects, subject code, exams date, the days of the exams, timings for the exams, reporting time for the students, other important instructions.

Jammu and Kashmir Board Result
Jammu and Kashmir board results will be available for both classes i.e. HSLC and HSSLC on the official website. In order to check the results, the candidates need to visit the official website and then the students should enter the details such as the roll number of the students. It should be the same as available on the admit card.
