Arunachal Pradesh is a state located in the easternmost part of India, and its capital city is Itanagar. This state shares a border with Assam to the south and Nagaland to the south-east. Education in Arunachal Pradesh is gradually improving with several plans and projects being initiated by both state and central government. The average literacy rate in Arunachal Pradesh as per the 2011 census report was 66.96%. 

School Education in Arunachal Pradesh follows a uniform structure of the 10+2 system. The primary stage of schooling consists of Standard I to V, the middle stage from Standard VI to VIII and the Secondary Stage comprises Standard IX to X. Classes XI-XII falls under the higher secondary education stage.

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) looks after the Elementary Education from Class – I to VIII. Whereas The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE) looks after IX, and X education.

Arunachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education and Higher Secondary Education, there is Arunachal Pradesh board which is called as ‘DSEAP‘ and ‘APDHTE‘. The DSEAP stands for Director Of School Education, Arunachal Pradesh State whereas APDHTE stands for Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Arunachal Pradesh State. The 12th (Intermediate) Board has multiple streams like Arts, Science, Commerce, General, Vocational and others. These two boards are the education boards of Arunachal Pradesh state.

APSOB offer primary to senior secondary education, Vocational courses, and also offer sports and other cultural activity, and arranges health camps, scholarship program, distance learning program and to support minorities by way of providing the study material, and meal and clothes to needy peoples, and manage various social welfare Programme.  APSOB has been established with a mission to provide education with a global curriculum supported with world-class infrastructure, faculty and progressive management.

Arunachal Pradesh Board Time Table

The candidates who study from the Arunachal Pradesh Board get the timetable in the month of December. The link to the timetable uses to be available online on the official website. The timetable contains all the necessary information related to the board exams. The candidates of the SSC standard give the exam in the month of February and March while for the Intermediate candidates, the board conducts the exams in the month of March and April.

 The Arunachal Pradesh Board timetable contains all the necessary information regarding the examinations. It has information such as the exam date, timings for the exams, the name of the subjects, subject code, and some other important information.

Arunachal Pradesh Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card

For the students of secondary and senior secondary, the Arunachal Pradesh Board releases the admit card in the month of February. Candidates obtain the admit card online on the official website. To get it from the official website, the candidates need to use their roll number. The students can also collect the Arunachal Pradesh Board Admit Card from their respective schools.

It contains the name of the board, class name, students’ name, roll number of the candidates, date of birth, parent’s name, the date for the exams, exam day, exam timings, exam centre, reporting time, subject details etc. The admit card contains all the important details related to the exams as well as related to the students. Students are required to carry a physical copy of admit card to the examination hall. Without the admit card students will not be allowed to write exams.

Arunachal Pradesh Board Class 10 and 12 Result

After the completion of the exams, the Arunachal Pradesh board declares the result for both classes. For class 10 board exams, the board announces the result in the month of June. For class 12, the board declares the result separately for different streams. It releases the result for Science and Commerce combined while for Arts, the separate result uses to be announced. To check the result, the candidates need to submit the roll number.

Arunachal Pradesh Board Supplementary Exams

The candidates who will not get the passing marks will be able to appear for the supplementary exams. The board provides a second opportunity for the students to pass the exams. The AP Board conducts the supplementary exams in the month of August and September.
