Addressing the students, faculty, officials and retired employees, Dr. Manoj stressed upon the five elements of nature which are part of our body and the balance it needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Stating that Stress was the major factor which leads to medical conditions in human beings and how we deal and overcome the stress in our lives will determine the quality of life we live. We need to remove the fear of disease which will help in having a healthy life.
Yoga and Ayurveda are centuries old and were practised by our forefathers. Homeopathy is 250 years old and allopathy, modern medicine is 100 plus years old. Alternative systems of therapy and treatment is gaining popularity all over the world. Dr. Manoj also explained to the audience on the importance of having food in right quantity enough for the stomach and body to digest. He also gave inferences from scientific studies on the ill effects of excessive smoking and drinking in human beings.
Dr.Manoj Kuriakose is Homeopathic physician practicing for the past 33 years. He sees over 100 patients a day and he has done an in depth study of human behavior.
