‘Warsaw Diary’ a book by Prof. Ravi Ranjan published |
A book titled ‘Warsaw Diary’ by Prof. Ravi Ranjan, Professor at the Department of Hindi, School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad has been published by Ananya Prakashan, New Delhi.

This book contains the detailed observations of the author from the point of view of a litterateur during his stay at Warsaw, Poland on deputation to Indian Foreign Service as Visiting Professor at Centre for South Asian Studies, University of Warsaw through Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, during November 2015 to September 2018.

The book offers crucial insights into the bilateral relations between India and Poland in the field of education and culture. The book brings together some points regarding Indo-Chinese and Indo-Pak bilateral relations, Hindi literature, cultural diplomacy and an interesting account of day to day life of Polish people.

Prof. Ravi Ranjan, currently Professor at the Department of Hindi is a known Hindi literary critic. He has extensively published over hundred research articles, criticism in almost all leading Hindi journals and also several books, which include Anmil Aakhar,Lokpriya Kavita Ka Samajshastra, Bhaktikavya Ka Samajshastra Aur Padmavat,Sahitya Ka Samajshastra Aur Soundrayashastra: Vyavhaarik Paridrishya, Alochana Ka Atmsangharsh(Editor) etc.
