Tributes paid to Babu Jagjivan Ram |

The employees of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) paid tributes to Babu Jagjivan Ram on his death anniversary on July 6, 2022 in the administrative building of the University.

Prof. B J Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. R S Sarraju, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Devesh Nigam, Registrar, Prof. G Nagaraju, Dean Students’ Welfare and other officials, faculty and administrative staff observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the great leader.

Babu Jagjivan Ram made significant contribution to bring about equality in India. He was an able Parliamentarian who championed the cause of the poor and the downtrodden in the country. He was widely admired for his leadership qualities and organizational abilities, and always remained a force to reckon with in Indian politics.
