IIT-Hyderabad and DGQA Collaborate to Offer Advanced Programs

The Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad (IIT-H) and the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) under the Union Ministry of Defense have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide a range of advanced academic programs.

Under the agreement, both institutions will jointly offer M.Tech, Executive M.Tech, and certificate programs in various disciplines. These programs will cover subjects such as Software Engineering, Testing and Artificial Intelligence, Quality Management, Data Sciences, Micro Electronics and VLSI, Communications and Signal Processing, Integrated Computational Material Engineering, EV Technologies, and Smart Mobility.

The collaboration will involve experts from both IIT-Hyderabad and DGQA working together to develop the curriculum. The eligibility criteria for these programs will be announced after the curriculum is finalized.

The partnership aims to provide professionals with a unique learning experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on experience in labs. The interaction with DGQA experts will further enhance the learning process, allowing participants to gain valuable insights from industry specialists.

Prof. BS Murthy, Director of IIT-Hyderabad, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, highlighting how the partnership between academia and DGQA exemplifies the power of shared expertise and a common vision for advancing education and knowledge in various fields.
