About Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is a four year, trimester pattern, undergraduate technical degree program that prepares students for a career in the field of computer applications and software development. The programme makes you proficient in technicalities of programming languages, development of applications, software testing and managing information systems.
- The program focuses on foundation courses like core programming languages (‘C’, ‘java’ and Python), Database Management, Data Structure, Networking, Operating System, Mathematics, Electronics as well as current technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Android, ASP.Net, Cloud Computing and AngularJS. The program ends with a six-month internship in the IT industry.
- As a computer science student, you will have access to specialized state of the art labs and facilities, have interactive sessions with prominent industry names, who come to share their real-life experiences. The BCA Program provides you with a sound academic base and helps to pursue an advanced career in computer application and information technology.
- You Should Know: Amdocs India has set up the “AMDOCS Innovation Lab” on campus exclusively for students to work towards making their innovative ideas a reality.
- You Should Know: IBM has set up the “Centre of Excellence” and Business Transformation Program on Campus.

Eligibility Criteria
Maharashtra State (MS) Candidature
- Passed 10+2 / 12th / HSC Examination in science stream with English subject (OR) Three Years Engineering Diploma Recognized by Government Competent Authority (OR) Passed its equivalent examination with 50% Marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Other than Maharashtra State(OMS) Candidature
- Candidate should be an Indian Nationality. / Passed 10+2 / 12th / HSC Examination in science stream (OR) / Three Years Engineering Diploma Recognized by Government Competent Authority (OR) / Passed its equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate.
Foreign Nation / NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf countries:
- Passed 10+2 / 12th / HSC Examination in Science stream (OR) its equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate.

Step 1) MIT-WPU UGPET Computer Science 2022- Online proctored entrance exam – 100 marks and
