Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for 5 Year programmes
- Admission into Five year Integrated B.A., LL.B (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B (Hons.) is based on entrance test. To be eligible a candidate should have passed higher secondary school/ intermediate examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50 % marks in aggregate (45 % in case of SC/ST and persons with disability).

- Candidates awaiting results may also apply for the entrance test. The age of the candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of general category and 22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with disability as on 1st July, 2017

Eligibility criteria for 3 Year programme
- The Candidate should have passed graduation in any discipline (except B.F.A & Single sitting graduates from any distance mode education) with not less than 50 % marks (45 % in case of SC/ST and persons with disability) and candidates awaiting results may also apply for the entrance test. The age of the general candidates should not be more than 22 years (in case of SC/ST and persons with disability 24 years) as on 1st July 2017.

How to Apply

Please go through the process mentioned below in order to apply for GLAT 2017:

  • Candidates can obtain the application form in offline mode at few registered centres or university branches or candidates can simply download the application form from the official website.
  • Candidates are required to remit the application fee via demand draft.
  • Candidates can fill up the application form by using blue or black ballpoint pen.
  • We advise candidates to put only genuine information in the application form.
  • Now you need to paste a recent passport size color photograph. The photograph must be self attested.
  • Applications can be downloaded from www.gitam.edu and filled-in applications along with copies of certificates and DD for ` 700/- (for girls ` 500/-) drawn in favour of Director, School of Law, GITAM University on any scheduled bank payable at Visakhapatnam, should be sent to the Director, School of Law, GITAM University, Visakhapatnam-530045, A.P. on or before last date.

Exam Pattern

  • The total questions for the GLAT 2017 test will be 200 and will be of multiple choice objective types.
  • The period of test will be for 120 minutes.
  • Applicant 1 mark will be added for each correct answer.
  • The distribution of question and marks is as follows:

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

The candidate should verify all the information in the admit card. If any issue is found, then get it corrected with the concerned authority.

The candidates are required to carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without it, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. It is also very important to document for the further admission processes.

Cutoff

The cut off score depends on difficulty level of exam, availability of seats, number of applicants, etc. Based on the cut-off score examination authority prepares the merit list and candidates are called for counselling.

Results

The candidates are required to enter their respective GLAT 2017 Roll Number for checking their result and downloading of their scorecard.
