Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore invites applications for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the year 2015.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS,BNYS, BHMS, B.E/B.Tech, B,arch, B.Sc, BVSc, B.Pharm and B.pharm D in Karnataka Colleges.

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore.

Applicaions are invited from eligible candidates of Karnataka including the wards of Jammu & Kashmiri Migrans for registration to the Common Entrance Test 2015" to Professional Courses detailed here in below for the seats to be notified by the Govemment in the Professional Educational insitutions in the state of Karnataka for the academic year 2015-16.

KCET Eligibility Criteria:

Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in aggregate
Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

MBBS/BDS
Pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/ equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and minimum of 50% marks of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in aggregate (aggregate three) (40% for SC, ST, CAT 1, 2A 2B and 3A, 3B Category Candidate)

CET Examination
minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in PCB Subjects (40% for SC, ST, CAT 1, 2A 2B and 3A, 3B Category Candidate)

Criteria for Determination Merit/Rank
Only on the basis of mark obtained in PCB Subjects in CET.

BAMS, BUMS, BNYS and BHMS
Pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/ equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and minimum of 50% marks of Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in aggregate (aggregate three) (40% for SC, ST, CAT 1, 2A 2B and 3A, 3B Category Candidate)

CET Examination
No minimum marks prescribed in CET.

Criteria for Determination Merit/Rank
By taking Marks in equals proportions in QE and CET in PCB Subjects

B.E, B.Tech
=> Pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/ equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and minimum of 45% marks of Physics, mathematic along with Chemistry, Bio Technology, Biology, Electronica and Computer Sciences subjects in aggregate (aggregate three) (40% for SC, ST, CAT 1, 2A 2B and 3A, 3B Category Candidate)

CET Examination
No minimum marks prescribed in CET.

Criteria for Determination Merit/Rank
By taking Marks in equals proportions in QE and CET in PCB Subjects

B.Arch
=> Pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/ equivalent Exam with Mathematics as compulsory opnational Subjects.

CET Examination
Minimum of 40% marks in NATA for all categories of candidates including SC, ST and OBC

Criteria for Determination Merit/Rank
By taking marks obtains in all subjects in qualifying Exam and NATA taken in equal proportion.

B.Sc
=> Pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/ equivalent Exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and opnational Subjects.

NOTE: (i) The candidate who has obtained a seatin any discipline through KEA (CET Cell) in any of the previous years shall not be eigible to coninue in the course to which heshe has been admited during the previous years immediately upon selection of a seat in any different discipline during the cument year.

(ii) The minimum passing marks for all Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates shall be 12 out of 50 marks in Kannada Language Examination conducted by KEA (4th Standard level) in order to be considered for assigning of ranks and to become eigible for allotment of seats in CET 2015.

(III) In case of Agriculturist Ouota, the merit ist will be prepared based on 25% marks each, secured in concemed combinaions in llyear PUC (PCMB) & CET and 50% marks secured in the Practical Test. In case of BVSc & AH merit will be prepared based on 50% of Marks securedin CET (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and 50% of marks scoredinthe practical test.

=> Enter all the detalis ONLINE by browsing URL on KEĀ webside http://kea.kar.nic.in by selecting CET 2015 UG online Application After completion of Application No, and Password to their registered mobile phone number and to email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen.

=> Upload th Scanned copy of recents passports photo

=> Print challan copy which is in triplicate. and pay application fee

=> take printout of the application form A4 size paper.

=> Candidates can fill KCET 2015 Application Form from January 30, 2015 till March 2, 2015

=> The applications must be filled in online mode

=> General and OBC candidates of Karnataka state need to remit an application fee of Rs. 650 and those belonging to SC/ST categories of Karnataka state need to remit Rs. 500 for the same. Those who do not have the origin to Karnataka state, will need to remit an application fee of Rs. 750 against KCET 2015 Application Form

=> Candidates can remit the application till March 4, 2015
