Important dates

Eligibility:
Undergraduate programs (B.Tech):
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biotechnology.
- Secured a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate in PCM/PCB (or be among the top 20 percentile in the qualifying examination conducted by the respective Board).
- Qualified in JEE Main exam.
Postgraduate programs (M.Tech, M.Sc., M.A., MBA):
- Passed the relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (or CGPA equivalent).
- Qualified in GATE/CAT/JAM/NET or other relevant entrance examinations as specified for the program.
Application process:
- Applications will be accepted online through the official NSUT website.
- Candidates need to register and create a profile.
- Fill out the application form and upload required documents.
- Pay the application fee.
Application fee:
- The application fee varies depending on the program and category.
- Fee for General/OBC candidates is expected to be around ₹1000-1500.
- Fee for SC/ST/PwD candidates is expected to be around ₹500-750.
Selection process:
- Admissions to undergraduate programs are based on JEE Main score, followed by counselling.
- Admissions to postgraduate programs are based on entrance exam score, followed by counselling and/or interview.
Fees:
- Tuition fees vary depending on the program and category.
- Approximate fees for General/OBC candidates:
- B.Tech: ₹35,000-45,000 per annum
- M.Tech/M.Sc./M.A.: ₹40,000-50,000 per annum
- MBA: ₹60,000-70,000 per annum
- Fee for SC/ST/PwD candidates is expected to be around 50% of the General/OBC fee.
