About

Aeronautical Engineering is an engineering field concerned with the development of aircraft and spacecraft. It is a branch of aerospace engineering, which also includes astronautical engineering. Aeronautical engineering focuses on applying physics, mathematics and other disciplines to construct an aircraft. Aeronautical engineers work to make sure aircraft’s propulsion systems operate efficiently and that its aerodynamic performance is working efficiently. A background in chemistry, physics, and mathematics is important for students interested in pursuing an Aeronautical Engineering degree.
