About Masters in Social Work (MSW)
- The MSW program is two-year long master’s program which any graduate can take up. The program is divided into six trimesters including theory subjects, hands-on training and internship. The foundation courses include orientation to basic statistics, social research methods, development studies, and understanding sustainable development. The core courses include capacity building in social work, sociology and psychology of social work, communities and governance, social legislation, and case studies. In the fifth trimester, students can choose elective from SDGs & Industrial Sustainability and Environmental Social Work. The last trimester is dedicated purely for internship and project work, where students can choose to work with industry, policy makers, or opt for research projects. The students will be encouraged to work on in-house projects and provided opportunities to intern with industry and communities.
