Ranchi University Results Revaluation Process

The students are allowed by the university to apply for revaluation/re-totalling/ photocopy of answer books immediately after the announcement of the result. Students can apply through an online portal. For revaluation/re-totalling/ photocopy of answer books, candidates have to pay the fees as prescribed by the University. The results will be declared online after the revaluation/re-totalling process. After the valuation, the marks will be entered in front of the examiners. About Ranchi University Results

Ranchi University is a public university in located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It was established on 12 July 1960 as a teaching-cum-affiliating university.

The university has a total student intake of around 90,000 students from its affiliated colleges. It has a central library with approximately 150,000 books for the academic needs of the students. There is a total of two male hostels and four female hostels in the university campus situated at Kutchery Road, Morabadi in Ranchi. The university is financially dependent on UGC funds (Rs. 38 crores annually) in addition to the fees paid by the students.

The University has its jurisdiction that spans five districts of Jharkhand, namely, Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega, and Lohardaga. The syllabi for mainstream courses in science, humanities, and commerce too have been upgraded to meet the requirements of University Grants Commission (UGC). In 1992, the university was bifurcated to create Vinoba Bhave University, reducing its area by nearly half for proper administration. In 2009 university was divided twice – in January to create Nilamber Pitamber University, at Medininagar, and in August 2009 to create Kolhan University,[3] at Chaibasa.

There are 35 constituent colleges and 29 affiliated colleges of Ranchi University. The colleges under Ranchi University offer courses in Medical, Engineering, Management, Science, Arts and Law streams. The department of Anthropology in Ranchi University has a museum that showcases variety of exhibits including ethnographic collections of central Indian states, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
