Post Graduate Diploma Museology - Museology is the study of museums and how they have established and developed in their role as an educational mechanism under social and political pressures.Museums are expression of a special human relation to reality resulting in preserving the cultural and natural heritage and using it for scientific and edutainment purposes. Museums in the modern world, apart from being the custodian of natural & cultural heritage, play an important role in imparting scientific, cultural, and historical knowledge to the general public. Thus Museology department deals with preservation and conservation of natural and cultural heritage.
