Course Details:

Master Diploma in Pharma Management is two years postgraduate diploma course of study in India. Pharmaceutical manufacturing technology is an application of scientific knowledge to the pharmacy, The study is designed to prepare personnel as a pharmaceutical manufacturer with the adequate knowledge and skills required to ensure that their manufacturing equipment is properly designed, installed, tested, operated and maintained.

The master diploma course emphasis on the methods, techniques, and instrumentation in the manufacture, preparation, compounding, dispensing, packing and storing of drugs and other preparation used in the diagnosis and determinative procedures and in the treatment of patients.

The study trained candidates in pharmaceutical analysis, product formulation, Quality Assurance, Control and Manufacturing, Microbiology and Toxicology and also in the process of Safe Handling of the potentially hazardous material, with the ability to work carefully, methodically within the edges of law and ethical concerns relating to the supply of medicines and analysis of medicines.

The course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Pharmaceutical manufacturing. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with Pharmaceutical manufacturing and Management, in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as

Analytical Techniques, Method in Drug Evaluation, Quality Assurance, Research Methodology, Pharmaceutical Product Development, Pharmaceutical Production Management & Technology, Drug Regulatory Affairs & Intellectual Property Rights, etc.

Eligibility:

The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode:

This course requires study requires 2 years of the time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.

The Master degree holder have excellent career opportunities in Colleges & Universities also in Government and Private Pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.

After the successful completion of the course, one can be recognized as Product / Process Development Scientist or Quality Assurance Manager and able to work as Research Scientist, Formulation Pharmaceutical Technology Scientist, Senior Executive, Purchase Manager (Pharmaceutical Drugs), Pharmaceutical Subject Matter Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Professor, Lecturer, etc.
