A certificate program prepares students to serve as an Ayurveda consultant or to integrate Ayurveda practices into another healthcare-related career. In a program, students study the concepts and ideas behind this form of natural healing.Programs usually have an internship or clinical portion where students practice the actual application of Ayurveda practices with clients. Most programs are short, taking only a matter of weeks to complete on a part-time basis. The majority of programs don't have any special admissions requirements, except the general admission requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.
