Candidates whose names are listed in the final drawing list will be allocated seats through CEED counseling. Any remaining vacant seats will be filled by candidates on the waiting list.
In the CEED scorecard and merit list, ranks are assigned to candidates in various categories. Here are the different types of CEED ranks allocated to candidates:
- Open Rank: Open rank is assigned to candidates whose total CEED score and marks in Part-A are equal to or exceed the minimum qualifying marks.
- EWS Rank: This rank is designated for General category candidates who belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of society. Such candidates are also given Open ranks as there is no separate cutoff for them.
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL Rank: This rank is allocated to candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories. However, the ranks of these candidates are maintained only if they can produce original certificates issued by the relevant authority during the document verification process. If a candidate fails to provide the necessary documents, they are considered under the Open category.
- Open PwD Rank: This rank is applicable to General category candidates with physical disabilities. Similar to SC/ST/OBC-NCL rank, candidates can retain the Open Persons with Disability (PwD) rank only if they can produce the required documents during document verification.
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL PwD Rank: This rank is reserved for SC/ST/OBC category candidates with physical disabilities. If a candidate fails to provide the necessary document during verification, they will be considered for admission based on their SC/ST/OBC rank or Open rank, as applicable.
