The Quantitative Reasoning section focuses on problem-solving skills using arithmetic and elementary algebra. Key topics include Number Properties (divisibility, multiples, factors), Fractions, Decimals, Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Algebra (linear and quadratic equations, inequalities), and Word Problems (rate, time, work, and interest). Notably, the GMAT Focus Edition has removed all Geometry questions and Data Sufficiency from this section (Data Sufficiency is now part of the Data Insights section). It tests your ability to reason quantitatively rather than just performing complex calculations.
