The PU MET syllabus covers five broad areas: (1) General Knowledge – current affairs, national and international events, awards, books, business news, government schemes; (2) Economics & Business Environment Awareness – basic micro and macroeconomics concepts, economic policies, Indian economy, business organizations, corporate environment; (3) Data Interpretation & Problem Solving – tables, graphs, charts, caselets, logical reasoning sets; (4) Numerical Ability – arithmetic (percentages, ratios, time and work, profit and loss), algebra, mensuration, number systems; and (5) Verbal Ability/Reasoning – grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, reading comprehension, analogies, logical reasoning.
