Based on merit rank, reservation category, and seat availability, seats are allotted. Candidates can choose to freeze (accept the seat and not participate in further rounds), float (accept the seat but opt for higher preference in next rounds), or slide (accept the seat but opt for better option within the same institute, if allowed). Failure to confirm admission within the stipulated time results in cancellation of the allotted seat.
