Primary answer
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting authority for the JEE Main examination. NTA is responsible for releasing the official notification, managing the application process, conducting the exam in multiple sessions, ensuring fairness through normalization of scores, releasing answer keys, evaluating responses, and declaring results. NTA also manages the exam infrastructure, test centers, and security measures to ensure the integrity of the examination process. However, the admission and seat allocation process after the results is conducted separately through JoSAA counseling.
