Primary answer
JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) conducts centralized counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and IITs. Candidates who qualify JEE Main and are eligible for admissions must register on the JoSAA portal to participate in the seat allocation process. During counselling, candidates fill their preferred courses and institutes, and seats are allotted based on their rank, category, and preferences.
