Each correct answer in PU MET carries 1 mark. For every incorrect response, 0.25 marks are deducted as negative marking. No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions. Candidates are advised not to attempt questions blindly due to the penalty for wrong answers. The final written test score is calculated out of 100 marks and later scaled according to the admission weightage formula for merit preparation.
