CAP is the online counseling process conducted by the State CET Cell after the results are declared. Qualified candidates must register for CAP, verify their documents at Facilitation Centres (FC), and fill out 'Option Forms' to list their preferred colleges. Seats are allotted in multiple rounds (usually three) based on the candidate's merit rank, category, and availability of seats in the chosen institutes. Success in the CET exam alone does not guarantee admission; participation in CAP is mandatory.
