After the NEET UG results are declared, candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff become eligible to participate in the counseling process for medical admissions. The result includes the candidate's score, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), and category rank. Candidates must then register for counseling through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats or through their respective state counseling authorities for state quota seats. During counseling, candidates select their preferred colleges and courses, and seats are allotted based on rank, preferences, reservation policies, and seat availability.
