Generally, once a candidate has accepted admission into a specific postgraduate medical specialization through NEET PG counselling and joined the program, changing the specialization is not permitted. However, if the candidate participates in further counselling rounds before the final admission deadline and receives an upgraded seat, the specialization may change according to the new allotment. After final joining and admission confirmation, switching courses is usually not allowed.
