APSCTE APJEE Exam
The Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education (APSCTE) conducts the Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (APJEE) for admission to various technical and engineering courses in the state. The exam is conducted once a year and is open to students who have completed their 10+2 education.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- If the candidate is residing in Arunachal Pradesh for three years or more then they are required to have appeared/passed Class X from any of the schools within Arunachal Pradesh.
- Candidates are required to pass/appear in class X or equivalent from a government recognized board.
Age Limit
- Candidates are required to be of 15 to 18 years of age as on the date of the admission and a relaxation of 3 years of age shall be provided to the SC/ST candidates.
How to Apply for APSCTE APJEE Exam?
To apply for the APSCTE APJEE Exam, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of APSCTE.
- Click on the link for APJEE Exam.
- Fill in the required details such as personal information, educational qualification, and exam center preference.
- Upload a scanned copy of your photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee through online mode.
- Submit the application form.

Exam Pattern
The APSCTE APJEE Exam consists of two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for admission to various engineering courses, while Paper 2 is for admission to various diploma courses. Both papers are conducted for a duration of 3 hours. The exam pattern for both papers is as follows:
- Mode of the Exam: Offline Mode
- Language: English only
- Type of the Exam: Paper Pen Based Test
- Type of Questions: MCQ
- Sections: 2 Sections (Mathematics and Science)
- Exam Duration: 2 hours
- Number of Marks: 300
Exam Centre
Examination on the scheduled and notified dates shall be conducted at the various centres at Itanagar, Naharlagun, and Nirjuli.
Counselling
APJEE Counselling shall be done after the declaration of results for various courses. Details of APJEE Counselling and Nomination of candidates
– The dates regarding the counseling, selection, and nomination of candidates shall be made available on the official website of the Directorate i.e. www.apdhte.nic.in, and shall also be published in the local dailies of the State.
– The date of Counseling for allotment of seats shall be finalized only on receipt of allotment of seats from the Government of India.
– Allotment of the seat will be made strictly on the basis of the merit list of APJEE.
– Preference of candidates shall be considered subject to availability of seats in the particular discipline as per his/her Merit position. No candidate, whosoever can, as a matter of right, ask for the particular discipline or particular college/institution.
– Choice of Course/disciplines indicated in the Application Form will be considered as Final and shall not be allowed to be changed at a later stage unless Open Counseling is held.
– If any candidate, after an issue of the nomination order, does not join or continue in the Institution and does not complete the prescribed course without sufficient reason, he/she will not be eligible for appearing the subsequent JEEs.
– A candidate should immediately surrender his/her seat allotted on the basis of his/her performance in the APJEE if he/she does not desire to undergo the course whatsoever the reason may be.
Documents required during APJEE Counselling
– At the time of counselling, the candidates will have to produce the following documents to be eligible for allotment of seats.
– Original Marks Card/ Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
– Certificate to ascertain the category of the candidate (ST Certificate for Cat.-I, Employment Certificate from respective employers or Domicile Certificate issued by First Class Magistrate during 2022 for Cat.-II).
– Candidates are also advised to keep the following documents, (in original along with 03 (Three) sets of photocopies of these documents attested by a Gazetted Officer) ready for submission at the time of obtaining Nomination Letter.
- Pass Certificate of the Qualifying Examination
- Mark-sheet of the Qualifying Examination
- School Leaving/ Transfer Certificate
- Class X Pass Certificate for verification of age
- Character/ Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended
- Migration Certificate
- SC/ST Certificate
- Parents’ Employment Certificate from the appointing authority or Domicile Certificate issued by First Class Magistrate during for Category-II.
- Permanent Residential Certificate
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Admit Card of APJEE 2022
