Applications are invited for admission into the B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry 4 year degree programme at Forest College & Research Institute (FCRI).
Mode of Admissions: Admissions will be based on TS EAMCET Rank in Biology (Botany + Zoology), Physics and Chemistry subjects with Intermediate or any other equivalent examination recognized as equivalent there to by the Board of Intermediate Education Telangana State.

Course and Duration: B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry (Four years) – 60 Intake
Eligibility Criteria:
Prospective applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must have successfully completed the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any equivalent examination recognized by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Examination.
- For the B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry course, candidates must have studied either:
- Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, or
- Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Regardless of the subjects studied in the qualifying examination, candidates must appear for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in TSEAMCET.
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in the specified subjects taken together at the 10+2 / Intermediate level.
- Proof of meeting the marks criteria in the qualifying examination must be provided at the time of admission, especially for candidates who appeared for the examination during the admission year.

Prescribed application form has to be filled online from 15-09-2021 at the college website www.fcrits.in by uploading the required documents and paying the amount of Rs. 1000/- for General and Rs. 500/- for SC / ST / PH candidates towards application fee online on or before
15-11-2021. (Candidates seeking admission under payment quota shall pay Rs. 3000/-)

Original certificates to be produced at the time of Admission/Counselling:
=> SSC Memorandum of Marks or Equivalent Examination Certificate, showing the evidence of the Date of Birth.
=> Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying examination (Intermediate (10+2) or its Equivalent Examination).
=> Telangana State EAMCET-2021 Rank Card.
=> Bonafide / Study Certificate from 1st to 12th Class.
=> Transfer Certificate.
=> Residential Certificate.
=> The latest certified copy of the Social Status Certificate issued by the competent authority of Telangana State in case of applicants belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
=> The latest certified copy (on or after 01-01-2021) of the EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to EWS.
=> The latest certified copy (on or after 01-01-2021) Physically Challenged Certificate.
=> Children of Armed Personnel Certificate / Defence Personnel Certificate.
=> National Cadet Corps (NCC) Certificate.
=> Sports and Games Certificates along with Form I, II, III & IV (whichever is applicable) which are mandatory for claiming seat under SPORTS quota.
Criteria for selection:
The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the Telangana State EAMCET (Including Payment Quota seats in B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry courses) conducted by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education.
In case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more candidates in the Telangana State EAMCET, the marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination (Intermediate or its equivalent) shall be taken into consideration. In case of a further tie, the age of the candidate shall be taken into consideration and the older candidate shall be given preference.
