Speaking at the XXIII Annual Convocation ceremony of FORE School of Management, Delhi, Ms. Neelam Dhawan, Managing Director Hewlett Packard Enterprise, stimulated the outgoing students with her short but power packed speech.

“If you do not like what you do, you do not put your heart and soul into it. And your job will require more than your heart and soul. To perform and excel in your job you need to like what you do. In today’s world, work is life, when you enjoy your work it does not feel like ‘work’ any more. Though it may sound clichéd but the first ingredient one needs for success is passion. Passion defines what you want to be or want to do and drives you through that last mile, setting you apart from the rest while you go up the pyramid. If you do not like something you are doing, speak out. And if you are passionate about something and want to do a particular job, please put up your hand and volunteer. Look for that opportunity”, added Ms. Dhawan.

Often named among the top influential women business leaders Ms. Dhawan was among the first women to head a technology firm in the country, when she was appointed India head of the world's largest software company, Microsoft in 2005.
