Besant Evening College was founded in October 1976 to cherish the ideals and to enshrine the noble foresight of the then President, Late Manel Srinivas Nayak. For the last 32 years under the management of Women’s National Education Society, our college has been providing excellent avenues of higher education to those who pursue their studies along with their daytime work. Ours is one of the few colleges in the district exclusively for working class people.
