Smt. Mathubai Garware Kanya Mahavidyalaya in Sangli (Maharashtra) is run by Women's Education Society, founded in 1933.

His Highness Chintamanrao Patwardhan Her Highness Saraswatidevi Patawardhan The Society was established under the benedictions of a distinguished social worker Bharat Ratna Maharshi Annasaheb Karve.
