WB JECA 2024 will be conducted on 14 July 2024 by WBJEEB. Its application form has released. The Joint Entrance for admission in to MCA course (JECA) is a State level MCA entrance exam.West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct the common entrance test JECA and counselling for admission into the Master of Computer Application (MCA) course in various institutions in West Bengal.
The WB JECA is conducted by the WBJEEB and serves as the gateway for MCA course admissions in different universities, both government and self-financed institutes, within the state of West Bengal. WBJEEB JECA Exam
WBJEEB has been instrumental in the admission process based on online application and allotment through e-Counselling since 2012. It advocates fairness and transparency, ensures no-error, and adopts state-of-the-art technology. WBJEEB will conduct an OMR-based Common Entrance Test (JECA) for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) Courses in different Universities, Government Institutes as well as Self Financing Institutes in the State of West Bengal.

Eligibility criteria
a) Citizenship: Applicant must be a Citizen of India.
b) Qualification: Passed/appeared in Undergraduate Level/ final Semester Examination.

Seat matrix will be declared by the office of The Director of Technical Education, Govt. of W.B. in due course of time and will be published at Board’s website before counselling. Note that there may be other seats available in some institute/course which are not offered by them through e-counselling and hence do not appear in the seat matrix.

Application Process
- Application for the examination must be done online only. No printed application form is available.
- Ensure filling genuine application form available online only at www.wbjeeb.nic.in / www.wbjeeb.in
- Do not attempt to make any duplicate application.
- It is essential to have a valid mobile number and a unique valid email ID.
- All future communications by the Board will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID. WBJEEB will not be held responsible for non-receipt of any communication due to wrong/non- existing/non-functional/changed mobile number/ email ID or due to network interruption.
- Once the registration details i.e., name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, domicile and date of birth are entered and submitted, this information cannot be changed/modified/edited under any circumstances.
Exam Pattern
The question paper of Joint Entrance for admission in to MCA course will be as per the exam pattern. The WB JECA exam pattern conveys the mode, important topics, question distribution, marking scheme. Latest exam scheme is as per wbjeeb.nic.in. You can also practice the pattern, type of questions with PYQPs and JECA sample question papers. WB JECA mock tests are also a good way to familiarize yourself with the pattern.
The exam pattern is as follows

- Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the WB JECA.
- Total Marks – Maximum marks in the JECA is 120.
