The University of Calicut is pleased to invite applications for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program. Aspiring candidates are encouraged to review the following information for the upcoming admission cycle.

Calicut University: MCA Admission

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program is conducted by the University of Calicut.

Eligibility Criteria

Prospective candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree under the 10+2+3 pattern of education.
• Specialization in Computer Science, Computer Application, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Technology as a main or subsidiary subject.
• Minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA aggregate.
• A relaxation of 5% in marks for SEBC and PH candidates.
• SC/ST candidates need only pass the qualifying examination.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates can apply through the following steps:

1. Remit a fee of Rs.300/- (SC/ST Rs.100/) to Calicut University Fund via e-payment (SBT online/SBT e-chalan/Friends/Akshaya e-chalan). Refer to the “fee remittance” link on the Admission Website (www.cuonline.ac.in) or the “Instant Web Payment System” link on the Official Website of the University (www.universityofcalicut.info) for fee submission.
2. Apply online (from 20.04 to 16.05) through www.cuonline.ac.in. Click on the “MCA Entrance 2016” link, enter the challan number and password, and proceed to complete the registration process.
3. Send a printout of the application and the e-chalan receipt to the Chief Coordinator, CCSIT Centre, Calicut University Campus, University of Calicut, P.O. Calicut University- 673635 on or before 17.05. (SC/ST candidates should attach a copy of the community certificate along with the application).
