The programmes offered by the Department of Advanced Training and coaching are aimed at graduates aspiring to become coaches and trainers in various Sports disciplines. The courses will provide a clear understanding of the scientific techniques, strategies and specific knowledge in the chosen disciplines to the students. The rigorousness of such programmes will help the prospective coaches to sharpen and tone up the technical skills of the players under their control. The graduates can become trainers / Coaches in Schools, Colleges, Sports Academies and Centre of Excellence in Government / Private Sectors.

Courses Offered :

=> Ph.D., in Sports Coaching (Regular 2-years / Part time 3-years)
=> M.Phil., in Sports Coaching (1 Year)
=> MSc., in Sports Coaching (1 Years)
=> P.G. Diploma in Sports Coaching (18 Months)
=> Ph.D., in Sports Technology (Regular-2yrs / Part time-3yrs)
=> M.Tech., in Sports Technology (2 Years)

Eligibility For Ph.D., in Sports Coaching :

=> M.Sc., Sports Coaching or M.Phil., in Advanced Training and Coaching or M.P.Ed with Diploma/PG Diploma/ in Coaching

Eligibility For M.Phil., in Sports Coaching :

=> M.Sc., Sports Coaching or M.P.Ed with Diploma /PG Diploma in Coaching

Eligibility For MSc., in Sports Coaching :

=> Any Degree with Diploma in Sports Coaching

Eligibility For P.G. Diploma in Sports Coaching :

=> Any degree with three times representation in the National participation or Any degree with B.P.Ed.,/M.P.Ed., two times participation in the Inter-University competitions

Eligibility For Ph.D., in Sports Technology :

=> M.Tech.,/M.E., (any discipline )

Eligibility For M.Tech., in Sports Technology :

=> B.E.,/Equivalent Degree (any discipline)
