The VU University Amsterdam invites applications for VU Fellowship Programme 2014-15 from international students planning to pursue a Master’s programme at the university.

VU Fellowship Programme 2014-15:
The VU University Amsterdam is offering VU Fellowship Programme 2014-15 for international students planning to pursue a Master’s programme at the university. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the motivation letter, previous education quality and academic merit.
Eligibility :
Eligibility Criteria for VU Fellowship Programme 2014-15:
* Applicant must not be of Dutch nationality.
* Applicant must not have graduated from a Dutch higher education programme.
* Applicant must be admitted to a preselected Master’s degree at the VU University Amsterdam starting from 2014-15 session.
Duration of the award:
The VU Fellowship Programme 2014-15 is awarded to students during the first year of a Master’s degree programme at the VU University Amsterdam. Students scoring at least 80% of the 60 possible credits in the first year are eligible for the scholarship during the second year.
Value of the award:
The VU Fellowship Programme 2014-15 covers tuition fee, and provides for an allowance towards study and living costs paid over the year in 3 installments. There are two variations of the scholarship.
* €5.000 to students paying the tuition fee for EEA students
* €15.000 to students paying the tuition fee for non-EEA students
