University of Sheffield, UK is offering India Merit Undergraduate Scholarships 2014 and India Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2014 for Indian students planning to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate taught masters degree at the university starting in September 2014. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Candidates need to apply for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught masters degree at the University of Sheffield starting in September 2014. Candidates eligible for the scholarships will automatically be sent details of how to apply from January 2014 onwards.

Eligibility :
Eligibility Criteria for University of Sheffield India Merit Scholarships 2014:
* Applicants must be an Indian national or permanently domiciled in India.
* Applicant must have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught masters degree at the University of Sheffield starting in September 2014 by Friday 20 June 2014.
Number of awards available:
* Five India Merit Undergraduate Scholarships 2014
* Ten India Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2014
Value of the award:
* India Merit Undergraduate Scholarships 2014: £7,000 per year of study for all undergraduate programmes except Medicine and Dentistry. Students of Medicine or Dentistry will only receive the scholarship in the first two years of study. The scholarships will take the form of a fee reduction.
* India Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2014: £7,000 per year, for one year of study. The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
