International Research Scholarships 2016 At University of Technology Sydney

Scholarship

  • The UTS IRS only covers the tuition fees for a period of two years for a Research Masters degree or three years for a research doctorate degree.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

  • Be an overseas student.
  • Purchase and maintain a standard OSHC policy approved by the Commonwealth government Department of Health and Ageing.
  • Be commencing full-time enrolment in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at UTS
  • Be undertaking study in a subject area identified by the University as one of its areas of research concentration
  • Not hold a research qualification regarded by the University to be equivalent to an Australian research doctorate degree or, if undertaking a research master’s degree, not hold a research qualification regarded by the provider to be equivalent to or higher than an Australian research master’s degree.

President’s Scholarships 2016 At University of Technology Sydney

Scholarship

  • The scholarship is provided to assist with general living costs.
  • The annual stipends for 2016 are:
    1. $26,288 (currently tax-free) for full-time study mode; and
    2. $13,144 (currently taxable) for part-time study mode.

  • Candidates must be an overseas student.
  • Candidates must be a holder of a international student visa, meeting requirements as specified by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs (DIMA), including the requirement to purchase and maintain a standard Overseas Student Health Cover policy approved by the Commonwealth Government Department of Health and Ageing.
  • Applicants must have completed a bachelor degree with first class honors, or be regarded by the University as having an equivalent level of attainment.

MBA scholarships 2014 for international students at University of Technology Sydney

University of Technology Sydney is offering MBA scholarships for international students (neither an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen). Two scholarships are awarded. Usually one (1) new Recipient will be awarded in Autumn semester, and one (1) Recipient in Spring semester. The value of scholarship is A$5,000, which will be credited towards the recipient’s second semester tuition fees. Application should be submitted till 15th July 2014 for the Spring semester 2014.

Eligibility :

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
-Must be an International student (neither an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen nor permanent resident of Australia); and
-Must have completed a UTS recognized degree and met the UTS MBA entry requirements; and
-Must be commencing the UTS Master of Business Administration (MBA) program (course code C04018) in the semester immediately following the Scholarship selection ; and
-Have achieved a minimum academic achievement of Distinction average (75%) in their qualification used as a basis for admission to the MBA.

Scholarship Description:

The UTS Business School offers two (2) scholarships annually to high achieving international postgraduate students commencing the UTS Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Usually one (1) new Recipient will be awarded in autumn semester, and one (1) Recipient in spring semester.

Selection Criteria:

The recipient will be selected on the basis of:
-Academic merit in the academic qualification used as basis of admission into the UTS Master of Business Administration degree.
-Motivation to succeed in the UTS MBA program, as demonstrated in the Scholarship application.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome by late July 2014.

Scholarship Application Deadline:

The application deadline is 15th July 2014 for the Spring semester 2014.
