  • International fee paying students who have applied to the BBA program and hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study are eligible for this scholarship.

Engineering Excellence Scholarships 2016 At University of Strathclyde, UK

Scholarship

  • For Undergraduate Program:
    • £3,500 Scholarships towards course tuition fees for the first year.
    • £2,625 Scholarships towards course tuition fees for the first year.
  • For Postgraduate Taught Program:
    • £3,500 Scholarships towards course tuition fees for students studying on an M. Sc program.
    • £2,625 Scholarships towards course tuition fees for students studying on an M. Sc program.
  • For Postgraduate Research Program: A number of Scholarships of up to £3,500 towards course tuition fees for the first year of a full-time PhD.

Eligibility

  • All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee paying students holding an offer and wishing to commence their full-time undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research program at Strathclyde in September 2016 are eligible to apply.
  • For Undergraduate Program:
    • For £3,500 Scholarships, students must achieve an average of 85% + (or equivalent) in their high school grades.
    • For £2,625 Scholarships, students must achieve an average of 70% – 85% (or equivalent) in their high school grades.
  • For Postgraduate Taught Program:
    • For £3,500 Scholarships, students must achieve a first class (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.
    • For £2,625 Scholarships, students must achieve a 2.1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.

Candidates should write no more than 500 words on why they should receive a Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship.

The University of Strathclyde is a Scottish public research university located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Founded in 1796 as the Andersonian Institute, it is Glasgow’s second-oldest university.

It takes its name from the historic Kingdom Of Strathclyde.

The University of Strathclyde is Scotland’s third-largest university by number of students, with students and staff from over 100 countries. The institution was awarded University of the Year 2012 and Entrepreneurial University of the year 2013 by Times Higher Education.
