– Greening cities to improve quality of life
– Decarbonisation of heat and transport using hydrogen as an energy vector – technology assessment and systems modelling
– The effect of silicone molecular architecture on adhesion, tribology, and lithography
– 3D printing of porous materials for acoustical performance
– Droplets processing science and technology
– Advanced functional materials for photocatalysis using solar fuels
– Plastics in the air: quantifying sources and sinks with novel detection methods
– Redesigning smart urbanisation
– Co-designing futures
– Creating the design and use practices of long-life products
– 2D transition metal dichalcogenides for low power spintronics devices

Eligibility

Candidates are required to have at least a good undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1) in a relevant subject. Studentships cover full-time fees and a stipend for three years
