Scholarship
The University of Chester, UK, invites applications for scholarship to Undergraduate and postgraduate degree students.
Scholarship award:
– Financial support of up to £3,000
– 2-3 weekly strength and conditioning sessions
– Free fitness suite membership
– Access to resident sports therapist
– Athlete education workshops
– Athlete kit package
– Access to sport science support

Eligibility
In order to be eligible for an award, applicants must:
– be a undergraduate or postgraduate student at the University of Chester, or an applicant holding an offer with the intention of studying at the University
– be actively representing in their sport at national/international level
– fulfill all the academic requirements to progress on to the next level of their course.
– Scholarships will only be confirmed after enrolment on a course and will be available for a maximum of three years as an undergraduate and one year as a postgraduate. However, it should be noted that selection onto the scheme is not automatic year on year. All scholars must reapply each year.
– Sports scholars will be expected to comply with the requirements of the scheme and with any modifications that the University may make to it throughout the period of the scholarship. These requirements include competing for the University in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) events.
