Education New Zealand and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites application for Sports Education Scholarships for Indian students. New Zealand and IndiaNew Zealand Government’s agency for international education, Education New Zealand, has invited applications from Indian citizens who have secured a place in sport and exercise science or sports management programmes at a New Zealand university or institute of technology for study in 2015.
About Scholarship
The Sports Education Scholarships are available for Indian students who want to pursue bachelor degrees, graduate diplomas or post-graduate sports related programmes at New Zealand universities, Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics in 2015. The scholarships are a part of the New Zealand Prime Ministers’ Education Initiative between New Zealand and India.
Eligibility :
Applications are welcomed from candidates who meet ALL of the following criteria:
* At least 18 years at the time of application
* Indian citizen and not a citizen or Permanent Resident of New Zealand or Australia
* Must have offer of place for direct entry into an approved programme
* Offer must be non-conditional, the only exception being payment of fees.
* Must meet Immigration New Zealand requirements for a New Zealand Student Visa including health, character requirements and evidence of financial support

Value of the award:
The scholarships cover one year of full-time study only, and include
* Full tuition fees and associated student levies for one academic year, paid direct to the NZ institution
* A $15,000 contribution to living costs for one year
