Scholarship
United Nations invites applications for the Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship from young working journalists from developing countries and countries with economies in transition. It is a unique opportunity for these journalists to attend a 3-week programme that will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 15 September to 5 October 2019. During this programme, the fellows will attend special briefings, interview senior officials and exchange ideas with colleagues from around the world.

- Application deadline: 15th April 2019
- Programme dates: 15th September to 15th October 2019
Eligibility
- Should be between 22 and 35 years of age
- Should be full-time working journalists
- Should be proficient in English
- Should possess a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the start of the Programme (programme begins September 2019)
- Be a national of a developing country or country in transition, as defined by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs
