Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean (POGO) and Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research (SCOR) are inviting scientists, technicians, postgraduate students or post-doctoral fellows from developing countries to apply for POGO-SCOR Visiting Fellowships .Funding is provided to spend between one and three months at another oceanographic institute, anywhere in the world, to receive training on any aspect of oceanographic observation analyses and interpretation. The objective of the programme is to promote training and facilitate capacity development and advance sustained global ocean observations & their applications.

Scientists, technicians, postgraduate students or post-doctoral fellows from developing countries and countries with economies in transition (priority is given to early-career scientists) can apply for the fellowship program.
