Scholarship Description:

University of SydneyFunding is available for a PhD study embedded in an ARC-funded project exploring the effectiveness of school-based interventions for 1) changing the way parents and teachers view manageable risk-taking for children with disabilities and 2) increasing the level of responsibility children take for their own actions. The multidisciplinary research team represents occupational therapy, psychology, geography, paediatric exercise science, health economics, paediatric medicine and statistics. The PhD student will be a full member of the team, assisting with the overall project and implementing/evaluating the risk-reframing intervention.

Scholarship is offered for 3 years, subject to satisfactory progress.
