Scholarship

The Global Disability Innovation Hub, UK, invites applications for scholarship to Post Graduate students.

Objectives:

  • To identify and accelerate talented disabled individuals
  • To financially support high achieving disabled people through Masters courses, maximizing academic and individual outcomes
  • To establish a network of high achieving disabled influencers
  • To drive disabled leaders across a variety of sectors and industries

Scholarship award: Funding up to £15,000 for a UK Masters course and a £15,000 allowance while studying.

Eligibility

Candidates should meet some or all of the following criteria

  • Open to UK and International individuals with impairments
  • Seeking exceptional leaders, with the ability to create change and influence
  • Applicants should have shown excellence within their chosen field of study
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate genuine leadership potential and have a proven drive for success
  • Influencers and role models, who have shown their ability to create change are encourage to apply
  • Success candidates will have achieved proven success through academic, employment or voluntary activities, and have experience of collaboration or mentoring
  • It’s important to explain the impact of your impairment and what difference receiving the scholarship would make to you.

How to Apply

Open to national and international disabled students the Snowdon Trust and GDI Hub are looking for individuals with the ability to create change and influence others. This could include excellence within a chosen field of study, or the ability to demonstrate leadership through work place or extracurricular activities.

If you are living with an impairment and have a proven drive for success, we would encourage you to apply. We know that genuine leaders often take unique career paths – this scholarship is open to both students who have recently competed an undergraduate course, and those wishing to return to return to study from the workplace or following a career break.
