The Macquarie University, United Kingdom, invites applications for Master of Research (M Res) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) scholarship program.

Eligibility
The Master of Research (M Res) is Macquarie University’s two year (equivalent full-time) research training pathway program to a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (M Phil).
- The Master of Research equips students with intensive research preparation before beginning doctoral study.
- The minimum requirement for admission to an M Res degree is:
- Undergraduate degree from a recognised institution
- Minimum overall GPA of 4.38 on a 7 point scale and GPA of 5.25 at 300 level
- A research proposal (a short paragraph is sufficient).
- A high level of English language proficiency.
- Some disciplines may have additional admission requirements such as a portfolio of work or a higher level of performance in previous study.
- If you hold an honours degree or a master’s degree you may apply for recognition of prior learning for up to 32 credit points for RPL. If applying for RPL please select the M Res course rather than the B Phil on your application.
- If you are seeking direct entry into Year 2 of the program your research proposal will be required to provide more detail (approximately a page describing your proposed project).
