Newcastle University, UK invites applications for Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship 2014 from international students wishing to pursue PhD studies at the university in 2014/15. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence of the students hoping to pursue a programme of research in any subject in 2014/15.
How to apply for Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship 2014:
Candidates need to first apply for a place in Newcastle University for which the scholarship is valid and then complete a Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship application form and submit it electronically.

Eligibility :
Eligibility Criteria for Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship 2014:
* Applicants must have been offered a place on a PhD research programme at Newcastle University.
* Applicants must have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes, and should be wholly or partially self-financing.
* Applicants must intend to register to start their studies during the 2014/15 academic year.
Value of the award:
covers the difference between fees for UK/EU students and international students (approximately £5,000 to £9,000 per annum)
