Scholarship
The UK based Newcastle University announces Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (VCES) for outstanding international applicants who apply for full-time Master’s studies at the university. There are a total of thirty nine 50 percent tuition fee scholarships and two 100 percent tuition fee scholarships

28 February 2019, 30 April 2019 and 28 June 2019
Eligibility
To be considered for the 50 percent scholarships, applicants must:
- Be a national of one of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Venezuela
- Be assessed as international for fee purposes
- Hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
- Already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
To be considered for the 100 percent scholarships applicants must:
- Be a national of one of the following countries: India, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda
- Be assessed as international for fee purposes
- Hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
- Already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
