Scholarship
The HRD Ministry has released a notification on its official website inviting application from Indian Nationals for New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship awards. The scholarship is being provided for Masters and PhD Level study in New Zealand in agriculture development and renewable energy fields.

The last date for application is 28th March, 2019
Eligibility
- Applicants should have completed Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in the subject or allied fields for Master’s or PhD respectively.
- Candidate who have already been abroad for study/training/specialization either on scholarship or on their own for a period exceeding six months are eligible to apply only if they have been in India for at least two consecutive years after returning from abroad as on 28th March 2019.
How to Apply
- Apart from applying, online at www.universitiesnz.ac.nz the applicant must download and complete prescribed New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship application form
- Send your completed Application Form to your country’s nominating agency
- All shortlisted candidates will be assessed, interviewed and undergo reference checks through the New Zealand Scholarships office
